Press Release #1: 3/15/2007. Distribution: General. Relevance: Termination of Vice Chancellor. Based on Mr. Lastimado's non-performance at a recent PERB hearing and his inattentiveness to negotiations, the faculty of Grossmont and Cuyamaca colleges sent a message to the board requesting that Mr. Lastimado be terminated.

Press Release #2: 11/2/2006. Distribution: General. Relevance: Rally to demand the resignation of Chancellor Suarez, Vice Chancellor Lastimado, board members Weeks, Garrett, and Alexander. Suarez with the aid of Lastimado unilaterally modified his contract to alter the Maximum Cash Settlement clause. This was approved/signed by Weeks and given a blind eye by Garrett and Alexander.
