Here is the latest update to the progress and/or status of negotiations between your United Faculty negotiating team and representatives of the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District.
January, 2009
Negotiations Resume. After our long and protracted labor impasse (finally settled by fact finding and support of the UF positions) negotiations resume. Immediately, UF and the District make headway in this tough budget climate. Agreements are reached that will benefit part-time faculty. UF is committed as much as possible to pursuing negotiating points that will be "revenue neutral". It's hoped that the new composition of the Board will allow and promote a more balanced approach to negotiations on the part of the District.
